Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially released his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, a 13-track project that celebrates his 15-year music journey while bringing together collaborations with some of Africa’s and the world’s biggest musical talents. The album became available on streaming platforms on Friday, July 31, after weeks of anticipation from fans.
Davido announced the project’s arrival through his social media pages, describing it as an expansion of his musical kingdom.

The singer has described ORIADÉ as a deeply African project, saying he intentionally returned to the sounds and identity that first introduced Afrobeats to the world. In a recent interview, Davido explained that he wanted to reconnect with his roots instead of chasing international validation, adding that the Yoruba title reflects his current “crown era.”
ORIADÉ, which translates to “the head that wears the crown,” is Davido’s shortest studio album to date, containing 13 songs compared to the 17-track format of his previous five albums. Despite its shorter length, the project features an impressive lineup of guest artistes, including Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, FOLA, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay.
The album includes previously released singles I Know Who I Be, featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, and Gimme Dat Ting with NO11. According to Davido, I Know Who I Be reflects on his 15-year career and personal journey in the music industry, while Gimme Dat Ting blends Afrobeats with Amapiano influences.
The full tracklist comprises On The Road, Amazing Grace featuring Black Sherif, Julie, Constantly, I Know Who I Be, Gimme Dat Ting, B4 B4 featuring Mayorkun and FOLA, Already Falling, Tell Everybody featuring Leon Thomas, Yaya featuring Aya Nakamura, Zanzibar, Guide, and My Light featuring Llona. Davido has also begun unveiling dates for a world tour in support of the album, which is expected to take him to audiences across several continents.
With ORIADÉ, Davido continues to strengthen his position as one of Africa’s leading music exports, combining homegrown Afrobeats with international collaborations while showcasing emerging talents alongside established global stars.
