The Delta Chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has pledged to run issues-based campaigns ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general election.
The Chairman of the state’s campaign council, Charles Aniagwu said APC was committing to highlighting governance and economic reforms while ruling out name-calling and verbal altercations.
Aniagwu who is also a commissioner in Delta State, declared the stance at a press briefing in Asaba.
Nigerian elections are usually characterised by caustic comments and mudslinging by opposing political parties intent on courting better appeal from potential voters.
