Tinubu noted that Adeniyi demonstrated this commitment not only through his public statements but also through practical actions that strengthened Nigeria’s democratic process.
The President recalled that the late senator served as the Ekiti State Chairman of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), the political movement that mobilised nationwide support for his emergence as President during the 2023 general elections.
He described Adeniyi’s contributions to the success of the movement as invaluable, noting that he committed enormous resources, leadership and organisational experience to ensuring victory at the polls.
